ArtLube-100 Rapid Mold Release
DESCRIPTION: ARTLUBE-100 is a non-silicone release agent specifically formulated for use with ArtMolds' flexible urethane molding system Mak-A-Mold and ArtMolds urethane casting system KastEZ resin. It can also be used with other polyurethanes, epoxies, polyester resins, and silicone rubbers.
It is a liquid external release agent that dries at room temperature forming a monomolecular film which adheres by adsorption to the mold walls and has no affinity for the resin.
This selective adhesion prevents the film from easily being torn off by the demolded part
USES: Polyurethane – All Types.
COMPOSITION: A proprietary complex resin solution of cross-linked polyolefins in volatile hydrocarbon solvents.
ARTLUBE-100 is available in 14-ounce pump spray bottles (12 to a case), 1-Gallon containers, 5-Gallon Pails, and 55-Gallon Drums. It may be applied to hot or cold molds by spraying, wiping or brushing. Spraying with a fine mist is preferable because it eliminates wipe or brush marks and results in the smoothest finish with the fastest drying time.
Allow the solvent to evaporate and the surface to dry for about 10-minutes. For quicker drying times, dry the master or mold surface with warm air. Use sparingly. Too much mold release will build up and could cover some mold details.

Mold release residuals can be removed using isopropyl alcohol.
STORAGE AND HANDLING:
Be sure to read the MSDS sheet that comes with the product before using. Store in a cool dry place. Use in a well ventilated area to avoid vapors.
The contents are flammable. Do not spray near open flame or store above 120° F. Keep containers tightly closed to prevent solvent evaporation.
